Entry to Casino Rama Resort is granted based on the following:<\/p>\n

General<\/strong><\/p>\n

Individuals entering Casino Rama Resort must be:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Must be Nineteen (19) years of age or older with valid government issued photo identification to gain entry to the gaming floor; those twenty-one (21) years of age or younger must also have a secondary piece of name identification.\u00a0Twelve (12) years of age or older to enter the Entertainment Centre.<\/p>\n

(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Not exhibiting obvious signs of intoxication; and<\/p>\n

(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In compliance with site dress code.<\/p>\n

The following individuals are not permitted access to Casino Rama Resort:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Individuals participating in a self-exclusion process established by OLG, unless the individual is accessing the gaming site in the course of their employment;<\/p>\n

(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Individuals believed to be excluded from the site under subsection 3.6(1) of the Gaming Control Act, 1992<\/a><\/em> (i.e., AGCO Direction to Exclude);<\/p>\n

(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Individuals restricted from accessing the gaming site as a condition of a court order; and<\/p>\n

(d)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Individuals issued trespasses as determined by Casino Rama Resort, or the OLG, prohibiting their entrance onto the property.<\/p>\n

Dress Code<\/strong><\/p>\n

This patron dress code is in effect at Casino Rama Resort:<\/p>\n

Shirts and footwear must be worn.<\/p>\n

No weapons are permitted.<\/p>\n

The following are prohibited:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Clothing that is identifiable with Motorcycle clubs;<\/p>\n

(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Clothing that is soiled;<\/p>\n

(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Clothing \u00a0with \u00a0offensive, \u00a0profane, \u00a0violent \u00a0or \u00a0vulgar \u00a0wording \u00a0and\/or graphics; and<\/p>\n

(d)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Clothing giving the false impression that the person is a Police Officer or Security Officer.<\/p>\n

In addition to the dress code requirements outlined above, gaming site management reserves the right to refuse entry to patrons in attire that is deemed to be inappropriate for a place of public assembly.<\/p>\n

Alcohol<\/strong><\/p>\n

Patrons are not permitted to bring their own liquor for consumption into any liquor licensed area of Casino Rama Resort.<\/p>\n

Patrons are permitted to bring sealed alcohol purchased from the LCBO to their hotel room for personal use.<\/p>\n

We reserve the right to confiscate and\/or refuse alcohol in the hotel room in situations of disorderly conduct or suspicion that the person(s) is\/are intoxicated.<\/p>\n

Cannabis Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n

Consumption of cannabis or cannabis products, whether by smoking, vaping, or other means, is not permitted on any portion of premises operated by Gateway that is generally accessible to the public, including within any designated smoking patios, shelters, parking lots or any other enclosed or open space available for public use.<\/p>\n

Smoking or vaping of cannabis is not permitted in any hotel room operated by Gateway. Gateway may ask a guest that has failed to comply with this Cannabis Policy to leave the premises, and may issue a temporary trespass ban if it is reasonably required in the circumstances.<\/p>\n

Guests who wish to consume cannabis\u00a0can do so anywhere outside Gateway premises as may be legally permitted.<\/p>\n

If there is evidence of cannabis smoking or vaping in a hotel room, a cleaning fee\u00a0of\u00a0$250CDN (or such other reasonable fee\u00a0as determined by Gateway in its sole discretion may be charged to the account).<\/p>\n

Full Gateway Cannabis Policy is available upon guest\u2019s request.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Hotel<\/strong><\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Guarantee Policy \u2013 Guests will require a valid credit card and photo I.D. to check-in. Credit cards must be in the registered guest\u2019s name and the credit card holder must be present during check-in. An authorization will be placed on your credit card for the full anticipated amount to be owed to the hotel, plus $200.00 for incidentals per stay. Please note that additional authorizations may be required throughout the stay.<\/p>\n

(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Cancellation Policy \u2013 All hotel packages and special offer rates are non-refundable. Cancellations must be completed 1 day prior to arrival by 4:00pm. Failure to cancel your reservation by this time will result in a no-show charge of one night’s room and tax applied to the guaranteed credit card. No refunds will be accepted without a valid cancellation number. For any changes or cancellations, please call 1-800-832-7529.<\/p>\n

(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Resort Fee \u2013 A daily $20.00 (plus HST) fee will be applied to most hotel stays. As a Tier Level Benefit, our Ultra and Elite guests will not be charged the Resort Fee. The daily fee includes: In-room coffee makers, wireless internet access, unlimited local calls, two (2) bottles of spring water, as well as access to the health club and pool.<\/p>\n

(d) \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Check-in time is after 4:00pm \/ Check-out time is 11:00am.<\/p>\n

(e) \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Special requests are not guaranteed, and subject to availability upon arrival. We will do everything possible to accommodate your request, however, we are unable to confirm requests regardless of when the reservation is made. Additional charges may apply for some requests.<\/p>\n

(f)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Children must not be left unattended in guestrooms. Casino Rama Resort requires children 12 and under to be in the care and control of an adult at all times while visiting the property.<\/p>\n

(g)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Pet Policy – we do not accept pets. Service Animals are permitted with documentation from a regulated health professional listed in the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation.<\/p>\n

(h)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maximum occupancy per room is 5 persons. Guestroom rates are based on single or double occupancy. Charges will apply for each additional adult.<\/p>\n

(i) \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Groups \u2013 For groups of 10 or more rooms, please call our Hotel Sales & Catering Department at 1-705-238-5900.<\/p>\n

(j)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Smoking of any kind is not permitted in non-smoking designated guestrooms. Violation of this policy will result in a $250 cleaning fee.<\/p>\n

Prize Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n

The following individuals are prohibited from gaming<\/u>:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 An individual under nineteen (19) years of age;<\/p>\n

(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Individuals who appear to be intoxicated;<\/p>\n

(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Individuals enrolled\/ participating in the self-exclusion program;<\/p>\n

(d)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 An individual restricted by court order;<\/p>\n

(e)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Individuals who have been excluded from the site under direction of the Regulator – subsection 3.6 (1) of the Gaming Control Act, 1992<\/a><\/em>;<\/p>\n

(f)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Officers, members of the board of directors or partners of the Operator;<\/p>\n

(g)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Registered gaming assistants of an Operator or OLG employed at any gaming site operated by the Operator or OLG;<\/p>\n

(h)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Executives or staff of a trade union who represent or negotiate on behalf of employees employed at the site;<\/p>\n

(i)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Employees of registered suppliers who maintain or repair gaming equipment at the site;<\/p>\n

(j)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Members or employees of the AGCO;<\/p>\n

(k)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Officers, members of the board of directors, or employees of OLG, unless they are within the description set out in subsection 22(6) of Ontario Regulation 78\/12 (i.e. they are registered as category 2 gaming assistants or otherwise not required to be registered by the AGCO).<\/p>\n

Please note that all of the above mentioned individuals (with the exception of individuals who appear to be intoxicated or are self-excluded) are also prohibited from winning a prize<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Any of the above individuals found to be playing a lottery scheme will be removed from the facility and may be subject to our Trespass Policy and charges accordingly.\u00a0 In addition, if any of the above individuals (with the exception of individuals who appear to be intoxicated or are self-excluded) win a prize while playing a lottery scheme, they will not be paid the prize.
<\/u><\/p>\n

Prize Disentitlement<\/strong><\/p>\n

In instances where a prohibited individual is identified, no prize payment shall be made.<\/p>\n

For the purpose of this Policy, “Jackpot” is defined only to include a single disbursement of currency, currency equivalent (eg. Casino chips) or non-monetary asset meeting any of the following criteria:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A progressive jackpot on a table game that is won as a result of a player’s participation in a\u00a0 bonus side bet;<\/p>\n

(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Winnings resulting from a player’s participation in a slot or table games tournament;<\/p>\n

(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A progressive jackpot on a poker table (ie., a “Bad Beat” jackpot, DEQ);<\/p>\n

(d)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A jackpot from a slot machine or other electronic gaming device that results in a handpay; or<\/p>\n

(e)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A non-monetary asset (eg., an automobile) awarded to an individual resulting from the individual’s participation in a lottery scheme (eg., a car won on a slot machine).<\/p>\n

A “Prize” means:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A Jackpot value at $10,000 (CAD) or more; or<\/p>\n

(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Any other jackpot which, if awarded, would result in an Operator being required by applicable anti-money laundering legislation to request the identification of a player.<\/p>\n
